Backup file encryption (configuration backup)

Hello,

if I enable encryption of the backup file (options dialog configuration backup), then "only" the configuration backup is encrypted, but not the actual backup of the VM or the tape backup. Is this correct?

I mean the dialog where I can start a configuration backup or also select the restore.

Correct.

For backup jobs and tape jobs you need to configure encryption in their own wizards.
