Backup Hyper-V machine with iscsi drive

Hi!
I'm tryng to find the best option for backing up a VM that as an iscsi drive for data, not O.S.
If VBR is on the host, it cant backup the data drive.
Installing VBR on the host, also doesnt allow that.
Seen in the forum that I should map iscsi drive to the host, then create a VHD and connect it to the VM. This doesnt sound tome as a good option...

What should I do?

As it's stated in our release notes on the page 5:

Pass-through virtual disks and guest disks connected via in-guest FC or iSCSI initiators are not supported for host-based backup. Such disks are skipped from processing automatically. If backing up these disks is required, please use agent-based backup.

Please have a look at the agent management guide to get a better idea about agent-based backup. In short, you can create Veeam Agent Backup job to bypass interaction with the hypervisor.
