Hello,
My question is regarding to how to backup / restore Hyper-V VM memory (.bin) and device configuration (.vsv) information during Hyper-V quiescence backup?
Veeam does suspends the VM during this kind of backup (application aware processing is not supported by customer) but after backup I can restore only .vhd and .xml file (even though there is a restore option for .bin and for .vsv files during Hyper Restore Wizard).
Regards,
Karoly

Re: backup / restore .bin .vsv
Karoly, memory is not backed up during offline backup using VM saved state (as well as during crash-consistent backup).

Re: backup / restore .bin .vsv
Hi Foggy,
1. I am aware of how this type of backup works, however this should be a nice feature (request).
2. Hyper Restore Wizard is mistakable because it offers the restore of these files.
Regards,
Karoly

Ok, seems you're talking about the restore option label in the wizard. We will change it, thanks for the heads up.
