Hi,
I am running Sharepoint 2010 and Veeam 7. My log files are huge and doesnt seem to be truncated by the veeam backup even applicaton aware is enabled and administratorcredential is set.
I have seen some youtube video setting the database to simple and then run a backup in the sql manager, but I think this should not be necessary?

Re: Backup sharepoint 2010 - logs
Hi Frank,
If you set your database to simple recovery mode, then logs truncation option is no longer needed. If you have issues with logs truncation, then it's better to contact our technical team and investigate this behavior through reviewing debug logs.
BTW, do you have any error messages in Windows Event log regarding logs truncation?
Thanks!
