I have just installed Veeam B&R Community Edition on an Hypervisor having two VMs.
I set up two backup repositories:
- the Default repository points to a local folder on the hypervisor;
- a second repository points to a shared folder on a NAS.
Which is the easiest way to have this backup plan:
- each workdays (Monday to Friday) a full backup must be stored locally on the server (Default Backup Repository). Keep 7 days.
- on Saturday the (full) backup must be stored on the network share. Keep at least 4 weeks (last month).
Should I have to set up two different backup jobs to store backups as above?

Re: Backups to different repository
Hi Luca.
Either two independent backup jobs, or backup job + backup copy job will accomplish your goal.
Check out Backup Copy "Periodic Mode" with GFS retention setup. That should do the trick!
