Cannot connect to SCVMM

Hello all.

I tried to connect to SCVMM.

But I cannot connect to SCVMM the error below.

Veeam Backup & Replication server does not have Virtual Machine Manager Administrator Console installed.

If you installed VMM Console while Veeam Backup & Replication UI was open, please restart the UI.

It the error means I have to install VMM Console?
But I think if I need to install VMM Console, I have to deploy SCVMM.

Please let me know the cause in this case.

Correct, you should install VMM Console on the B&R server.

Fedor is correct. And to answer your last question, you don't need to install SCVMM in total obviously, only the console. If you run the setup of SCVMM on the B&R server, you will be able to select specific components. Deselect them all, besides the console and that is all what is needed
