Cannot Reset CBT

Post by igetyaall »

Hi Community,

we have some Problems wit certain Backups, veeam says "Failed to flush change tracking data. Using full scan incremental run" , These Jobs keep Running for more than 24 Hours. So mi decided to reset CBT on our Hyper-V Cluster Servers, i did follow the Veeam Guide, but i keep getting Powersehll Erros.

I Tried to do:

Add-PSSnapin VeeamPSSnapin
$server = Get-VBRServer
Reset-HvVmChangeTracking -Server $server "inn068sv102"

Code: Select all

----------------------------------Output of Get-VBRServer----------------
PS C:\Windows\system32> Get-VBRServer

The syntax should be as follows:

Code: Select all

Add-PSSnapin VeeamPSSnapin
$Server = Get-VBRServer -name "Name of server on which CBT should be reset"
Reset-HvVmChangeTracking -Server $Server
Thanks.

This means that $Server variable contains multiple elements of different type. Can you check what exactly get assigned to $Server (simply input $Server in PS console and check the results)? Thanks.

But The Function Cant handlle it after getting only 1 Result with -Type
This cmdlet reset CBT for particular VM. So you have to provide VM name along with a server it resides on.

If you want to reset CBT on particular node or server, kindly, stick to the solution given here.

Thanks.
