Hi,
Found a post here about a possible timeout setting for Sharepoint Explorer...
We found out that if we do Exchange Application Item restores, Exchange Explorer remains open indefinitey. While do Guest OS FLR, the File Item Explorer will automatically close after a timeout to prevent keping the backup-files locked. This seems to not be the case for Exchange Explorer. So our question is:
Is it possible to configure auto-timeout for Exchange Explorer (and Active Directory Explorer also for that matter) ?

Hi, is there any option to disable or change the time of the explorer timeout?

Hi Volkan,
Could you please clarify which specific timeout are you talking about? Above, there is a request for implementation but this timeout is not added to the product yet.
Thanks!

Re: Exchange Explorer Timeout
Hi PetrM
I had last week a few file level restores and have the explorer open over the night, next day all explorer are closed due the inactivity time.
That was anoying and i have never seen this before, thats the reason if there is an registry hack to disable or change the time out time for the explorer.
