I currently have the following:
Production: 2022 Hyper-V with 10 VMs
Replication: 2019 Hyper-V (OnSite)
Ext. Replication: 2019 Hyper-V (Offsite)
So, I replicate 2022 Server --> Onsite 2019 Server --> Offsite 2019Server using built-in Hyper-V replication.
Since I cannot replicate from 2022 Server to 2019 Server with VEEAM, can I continue to use built-in Hyper-V replication to go from 2022 --> 2019 and then use VEEAM to replicate OnSite --> Offsite since both of them are 2019 Hyper-V servers? All VMs are config version 9.0.
Thanks.

Re: Extended Replication with VEEAM
Hello James and Welcome to Veeam R&D Forums!
I didn't test it but I wouldn't expect any issues with this setup. The only pitfall you'd probably encounter is the GUID-s collision if all Production, Onsite and Offsite locations are under the same SCVMM. In this case, our replication may try to address the production VM instead of the Onsite replica. Anyway, I would recommend testing this scenario on a "dummy" VM to make sure that everything works correctly before implementing it in production.
Thanks!
