Hello everyone
I've just noticed that one of the SQL servers doesn't do application aware processing even though AAP works for the other servers of that customer. So I went and hit test and for that machine, I receive the error message in the subject.
Google brought me to this issue on vSphere, where it is resolved by reinstalling/updating VMware tools. I would have expected that it was the same on Hyper-V with integration tools, but Veeam is not complaining about them.
Is there any other thing I have to check?
Regards,
Marco

Re: Failed to get VMs IP Address
So, what about Integration Services? Are those installed? If so, can you try to re-install them? Thanks.

Re: Failed to get VMs IP Address
It seems the latest integration services were installed but had some kind of error as even VMM could not display their version number and the machine's IP. A reboot of the VM fixed the problem. Thank you.

Re: Failed to get VMs IP Address
You're welcome. As most of integration with Guest VM is done through Integration Services, it's first thing to check whether they are working as expected.
Glad to hear that you're up and running now.
Thanks.
