We recently started using our hyper v cluster (4 host) windows 2012 r2.
I setup a test backup with 4 vm's to use an off-host server.
Why does it try to create vss hardware provider snapshot for eacht vm on our storage.
And why do I also receive this issue for 2 of my 4 vm's that I triy to backup

Hello Carol,

To investigate the issue deeper, you need to contact our technical support team. As regards, multiple snapshots for VMs being backed up, then where do these VMs reside on? Are they located on the same hyper-v host or on different ones?
