Post by EdgarPy » Sep 26, 2018 1:25 pm

Hi there!

i'm having an issue with a job, that can't complete the task. The vm has 4 vhdx, one of then has 1 Tb capacity.
Rigth now, i have open the #03191882 to follow this.

Other jobs runs without trouble.

the enviroment has 2 hyper-v hosts.
the message said: "el dispositivo no está listo Failed to read data from file (\\GLOBALROOT\DEVICE\ShadowCopy10070\VMS\...) failed to upload disk. Agent failed to process method.

Any suggestion about it?

thanks in advance.

searching info at the log file, i found the reference "error code: 0x00000002", regarding this its looks like a vhdx file corruption.

Hi Edgar,

Yes, this might be indeed the case (corruption) but I have heard about this also when there is network issues between the backup server and proxy server. Maybe because of that one with a big size.

I hope support is helping you further here, but if there is corruption, it doesn't look good.

Did that task ever completed? Or did you just added it to the backup and now it complains?
