Feature request: Don't generate Warning when CBT is disabled

Hi,

A feature request for future versions of Veeam Backup & Replication.

If you in a backup job disable CBT (deselect Use change block tracing data) and a virtual machine in that backup job can't use CBT (like not upgraded to VM version 8.0 on Hyper-V 2016), you will still get a warning status for that virtual machine and backup job.
I would be great to change this so if CBT is disabled and the virtual machine can't use CBT, the status for the virtual machine and backup job is Success instead of Warning.

The issue for us, we don't generate notifications on success and only for Warning/Critical, so now we will get false positives notifications for that backup job.

We were not able to reproduce this on the latest version, so if you still see the warning with disabled CBT, I suggest contacting support for a closer look.

Hello Ryan,

I see that you talked with another engineer. As the other engineer mentioned, we won't be able to turn off the job warning for the CBT as that is just how the software behaves. The options you have since you are receiving email reports is that you can turn off email delivery of warnings or errors, or turn off the email notifications all together. How would you like us to proceed with this case. If there is an issue with the job, you can upload logs and we'll troubleshoot. If there is no other additional issues, would you like us to close out this case since the engineer you spoke with created a separate case for the DB issue you are experiencing?

If CBT is disabled in the job settings, you shouldn't get the warning. We'll keep an eye on this issue, however, I'd recommend to escalate the case to check your jobs configuration.
