Health Check features & Merge Details
Guys & Girls,
Feature 1: Create separate job for health checking
- Since this is annoyingly spending so much time it interferes with expected backup windows
- Having the opportunity to separate this would be welcomed so we mail better control all the intricacies of backups jobs
(I've seen several of our peers asking for this)
Feature 2: See Health Check detail
- Jobs having several VMs inside it would be nice to detail "were the heck" is doing by simple listing the status of each HC for each VM inside
Ah! If there a place were we can vote & suggest for new features?
All the best!

Re: Health Check features & Merge Details
Hello Paulo,
Thanks for the requests. I will take the second request into account for Veeam ONE as it fits nice there.
There is no special place for new features voting. The best place to make a feature request is this forum as it being reviewed by Product Management team.

Re: Health Check features & Merge Details
Hello,
I believe it makes better sense to have the HC detail on VBR since its the place where you run it.
And not everyone installs the veeam ONE
It should be as simple as "opening" a detail below:
(date/time) :: Performing backup files health check (xx% done)
> Processing Server 1 (Complete)
> Processing Server 2 (yy% done)
> Processing Server 3 (zz% done)
…
And same for merge (feature 1), if possible.
Best Regards,
Paulo Balau

Agree, but I am product analyst of Veeam ONE, so think how to implement your request there
VBR product managers and analysts are also reviewing the forums.

Re: Health Check features & Merge Details
I was just going to post a request for the Health Checks being decoupled from the Backup Windows when I saw this thread.
I've had jobs fail when the health check does not complete withing the backup window (Terminate is set). I actually don't care if the Health Check is run outside the allowed window. I have Terminate set so the backup doesn't play havoc with production VMs, the Health Check doesn't touch the production VMs.
Is there a reg key perhaps that I don't know about?

Re: Health Check features & Merge Details
Stephen,
There is not a specific registry key for it (at least not that I know). I understand the feature request, but this will require quite some changes on the backend (for a lot of things) so it won't be that easy I'm afraid...
