While editing a backup job, in the following location:
Virtual Machines, Exclusions, Disks tab, Pick a VM, Edit... button, Select Disks window, Selected disks, Add, SCSI:
I see a list of checkboxes similar to:
SCSI (0:0)
SCSI (0:1)
...
SCSI (1:0)
SCSI (1:1)
...
SCSI (2:0)
SCSI (2:1)
...
Does the first number before the colon represent the SCSI controller in Hyper-V guest settings? If so, how can I discover the number of each SCSI controller in Hyper-V guest Settings? I assume the number after the colon corresponds to the Location value for the Hard Disk on the SCSI controller in Hyper-V guest Settings.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Help understanding Backup Drive Exclusion
Hi and welcome to the community mchilds!
You can find it in the VM settings for each hard drive (Controller:Location).
Another approach to verify the controller numbers is using this PowerShell guide.
Please scroll down to find the screenshot under the Hard Disks Section in this article. Thanks!
