[BETA] Hyper-V 2012 support
We are getting ready to start the private beta for Veeam Backup & Replication 6.5 with support for Hyper-V 2012 soon. If you'd like to take part in beta program, please post the following details below.
1. Number of Hyper-V 2012 hosts
2. Number of VMs running Windows Server 2012 or Windows 8
3. Hyper-V 2012 storage type (local, shared CSV2, shared SMB3)
4. Are you intended to be testing beta in test, or subset of production environment
5. Are you primarily interested in testing on-host, or off-host backups
6. Your relationship to Veeam (partner, current customer, trial customer)
7. Your region (city and country)
I cannot guarantee that anyone will be accepted for beta, because I do not make the selection. Private beta is driven by Veeam system engineer from the corresponding region, and they are the ones making the selection (usually, there are no more than 2-3 beta participants per region). So, I will simply route the information about all applications to the corresponding sales teams, and recommend that they put you on beta.
I will not comment on specific applications below, but this does not mean I am ignoring this thread.
Thank you!

We are going to be setting up a 2012 domain from the ground up.. 200 user environment, we are going to be buying Veeam, I have used it before and loved it but since we are looking to go into production in the next month or so was hoping to get on the Beta so we can get some good backups.
Please feel free to email me if you would like to discuss.

Re: [BETA] Hyper-V 2012 support
1. 3 node W2012 Cluster
2. 2-50 (mixed 2008/w2012)
3. iSCSI SAN HP Lefthand (CSV)
4. Subset of Production
5. Both
6. Customer
7. Falun, Sweden
We are going to build a new 3-node cluster based on W2012 Hyper-V hosts. I'm looking for a functional backup solution, we currently use Veeam for Hyper-V on W2008 Hyper-V hosts. When everything is ready we will migrate the VM's (about 50) on W2008 hosts to the W2012 Cluster.
So far i have only found that Altaro Hyper-V backup support backup on W2012 Hyper-V 3.0, but i would like to continue use Veeam if possible, but i need support for W2012 Hyper-V before this year's end, else i might be forced to change backup software.

This is my current 2012 production cluster. We have a slightly larger cluster which we are intending to migrate to Windows 2012 within the next 3 months, and we would then need to back up then 5 nodes with 300+ virtual machines.

Re: [BETA] Hyper-V 2012 support
1. 5 hosts
2. Appx 10
3. Local soon to be CSV/SMB, still determining architecture
4. Subset of production
5. Both on and off-host equally
6. Silver Cloud Partner
7. Carrollton, TX, USA
Currently hosting a number of customers in a "hosted desktop/application" setup using Citrix XenApp and Microsoft RDS and am loving Veeam so far, however we need to be able to assign more processing resources to a number of virtual servers (SQL and Remote Desktop Services) in our environment for our clients so we can get more use out of our hardware and the only way for us to do that at present is through Hyper-V 2012 as we are locked into a Microsoft solution and want to avoid VMware.

Re: [BETA] Hyper-V 2012 support
1. 2 hosts (2 node Windows 2012 Datacenter Hyper-V cluster)
2. 2 x Windows 2012, 2-10+ Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2
3. Shared CSV2 via iSCSI connections to 2 x EqualLogic PS4100XV/E's
4. Subset of production environment
5. On-host backup primarily (currently doing on-host)
6. Current customer
7. Barrie, Ontario, Canada (1hr North of Toronto)
Currently testing out new EqualLogic SANs (2 x PS4100XV/E's) with Hyper-V 2012 cluster on two Dell PE R620 servers. Testing going well so far, last piece of the puzzle is getting current Veeam backup environment to backup these new Hyper-V 2012 hosts. After which we can move some very low-priority Production servers onto this Hyper-V 2012 cluster (currently do have a bunch of test VMs on this cluster).

Re: [BETA] Hyper-V 2012 support
My entire environment has been Hyper-V based since 2009, but we only plan on upgrading our primary cluster and development cluster to Server 2012 for the time being. We have several hundred retail stores that will remain on Server 2008 R2 for now.
1. 7 Hosts
2. ~5 x 2012 VMs. 60+ 2008 VMs
3. CSV
4. Subset of production
5. Off-host backups - One offhost proxy is also repository. Proxies have 32GB RAM and 2 x 6c processors, teamed 1G NICs(upgrading to 10G in winter0
6. Trial Customer - We're VERY close to purchasing Veeam for our cluster but we definitive proof it's better for our VM environment. A beta that supports 2012 would be fantastic. I'm currently backing up about 64 VM's with Veeam, but it takes forever using CSV and scheduling is a pain to make sure only one node has access to a specific CSV at a given time.

Re: [BETA] Hyper-V 2012 support
Sorry folks, but it's been well over 1 month since my original post, and the beta has already finished. Most people who posted in September were accepted. The topic is now locked.
