Hyperv 2012r2 cluster replica to single host

Hi,

I have configured a new server 2012r2 Hyper-v cluster (3nodes). I would like to replicatie one of the vm's (which is currently installed on local ssd storage on 1 node) to another standalone Hyper-V host.
Hyper-v is telling me this is not possible, as this vm is not a clustered resource.
I know Veeam does support this. However, I would like to know the impact of Veeam replication on a production vm. Veeam replica's work with snapshots. How does this work in detail? Can we have continuous replication without impacting the production vm?

I have some experience with veeam hyper-v replica, but only from replication from backup. not from a live vm.

I would greatly appreciate feedback and help on this matter, as our customer is asking for replication of this vm.

I would like to know more about replication. what is the minimum of replication time... does veeam always create a snapshot? Let's say, I want to replicate every 15 minutes; does Veeam create a snapshot every 15 minutes?

Snapshot replica works essentially the same backup does.

Minimal time interval is to start new replication cycle as soon as the previous one has finished.
