HyperV2012 newby

Post by itcarecouk »

Hi
Probably a dumb question, but.
Got Backup and Restore installed on a HyperV 2012. I want to backup a single VM using "Onhost".
How do I start the user interface?
Thanks

Click the Veeam Backup & Replication icon on the desktop.

There's no desktop. Hyper-V 2012 only has a basic command line interface. (Unless I've missed something obvious there?)

Looks like you've installed core edition of Windows. If you want to use applications with graphical user interface on this server, you should install full version instead. Alternatively, just install Veeam on any other Windows server or desktop.
