Importing Backups from Another Inaccessible Server

The VB&R User Guide for MS Hyper-V states:
The server from which you plan to import backups must be added to the backup infrastructure. Otherwise you will not be able to access backup files.

So, how does one address a situation where the original Backup Server has died (and for whatever reason can’t be Restored) and it hasn’t already been added to another Backup Server’s infrastructure?


Example:

ClientBackupServer
ClientBackupStorageRepository (Ext-HDDs, NAS, etc.)

Let’s say ClientBackupServer dies a horrible death and can’t be restored...

How would one Import (if that’s even the actual procedure) the backups...

From: ClientBackupStorageRepository (Ext-HDDs, NAS, etc.)
Into : New-ClientBackupServer

Ummm... I think I just figured it out (duh)

Create/Build/Install New-ClientBackupServer (adding self to VB&R Infrastructure)
Attach/Connect ClientBackupStorageRepository (Ext-HDDs, NAS, etc.)
Import... and have a nice day!

In this case attach a backup storage to any working backup server you have, rescan it and import backup data from it. Thanks.
