Hi all,
I have configured a new backup job, backing up a Hyper-V cluster with 282 VMs. It is configured to use Forever Incremental backup type.
The initial full backup ran over the weekend and completed in 47 hours (13.9TB processed, 11.1TB transferred), the following incremental job ran from Monday evening and has been running now for 38 hours and is only at 38% completion (5.4 TB processed, 1.2 TB transferred).
I had expected that the incremental job would run much faster than the full backup as there is less data to transfer.
Any ideas on why this is running much slower than the full backup?
Many thanks in advance
Richard

Re: Incremental Backup Slower than Full
I would suggest calling technical support as this feels like something is going wrong.
