Install location for Veeam Backup.

Hi, new to veeam backup.

I have a small environment with:
A single Physical Windows 2016 Server (Domain Controller and Hyper-V host).
A single Hyper-V VM that I need to backup.

What is the recommended place to install veeam backup?
On the Physical host?
On the existing VM?
or
On a new dedicated VM?

Hi,

I'd definitely avoid installing anything onto DC, unless it's really necessary. You should install VBR in a dedicated VM.
