Is it possible to backup over WAN?

Hi
I have a veeam manager server inhouse, which backs up my customers HyperV servers. For that to Work, I have made VPN tunnels to them.
Will it be available in 7.0 without site2site VPN tunnels?

you'll still need VPN.
