Licens consumption
Just a quick question, if i have a couple of Hyper-V host in a job and they have a VM replicated between them, do they both consume a license? looking at the reports it seems like it does. It that by design or is there a way to make Veeam aware that its a replicated VM and therefore we don't need a backup of it?

If you backup a replica of a VM, then a instance (VUL license) for the VM or a socket license for the host is required. A replica is always a second VM with a new ID.
You can exclude a VM replica from a backup job if you don't want to protect VM replicas:
