I have restored a VM using fast VM recovery but the Veeam Backup Server was rebooted and the restored VM has been removed. I am trying to recover a deleted VHDX (which was my first thought) but if there's any way that the VM can be quickly brought back I'd appreciate some advice on how to do it. I didn't migrate the VM into production, which I now realise is my mistake and the logs indicated the VHDX name but not the precise location.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Lost fast VM recovery VM
Hi Tim,
Instant VM recovery is booted from a backup file, and all changes are stored in a separate file and then are discarded as soon as you stop this session/process. If you need to start the VM again, you need to perform all the steps once again.
Thanks!
