Move Veeam Server to new host at DR site

Post by stag1 »

Hi,

I'm running Version 10 of B&R. It's at our main/production site as a HyperV guest. After reading this forum It looks like should move it to our DR site.

To move the guest, should I just export/import at the DR site? Do I need to reconfigure anything (other than IP address)? Any gotchas?

Thank you

Hi,

You only need to move (have a secondary) backup server in the DR site if you're replicating VMs offsite. Here is an existing topic to read more about this.

Thanks!
