NETWORK PREFERRED FOR REPLICATION AND BACKUP

Hello,

I have 2 2012 r2 hyper-v servers, i'm trying to configure a dedicaced network for backup and replication traffic using the network traffic options.
my backup network is configured on both servers and in the VB&r server. I use onhost proxy for the jobs (no backup proxy).

my backup network is not use for replication jobs between my servers.

i test to a backup job of one vm to a backup repository (default backup repository on vb&r server) and in this case, it's work.

what are the pre-requisites to use network preferred traffic ?

Hi Cedric, basically, if both hosts have the corresponding network configured properly, this should work both for backup and replication between them. I'd try to rescan hosts from Veeam B&R console and, if this doesn't help, contact technical support for review of your setup and logs, if required. Thanks.
