Object not found

A consultant says he removed an orphan vm from sql. Probably was in exluded list in the job which fails eith object error not found. The job will not be edited anymore.
Best to create a new job and map backup?

This will work. Alternatively, our support should be able to remove the VM from backup job by editing configuration database manually.
