object reference not set to an instance of an object
Hi all,
2 node windows 2016 hyper-v cluster with virtual veeam 9.5 update 1 server also on win2016.
Backing up from the local host of vms on local storage is working fine. All of a sudden now we are unable to back up clustered VMs that live on the CSV.
After rebooting the backup server and all hosts I was able to back up a couple of the VMs, but subsequent runs of the job (even after deleting and recreating the job) get unable to expand, object reference not set to an instance of an object on all VMs.

What's your support case number? It's requested by the forum`s rules while posting about technical issues.

Re: object reference not set to an instance of an object
Apologies. I'm a little confused because this is my NFR box and there is no support ID listed. Should I open a case using one of my other retail b&r servers that has a support id?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Went ahead and created a case under my other support ID. # is 02130922
Thank you.
Thank you.

Just so you know - you can open cases even with NFR license.
Anyway, thank you for following our forum rules, now let's wait and see what support engineer says after log investigation.
Thanks.

Thank you. Since it doesn't allow you to open a case without a numeric support ID, and the NFR license doesn't offer a support ID in the license section, how does one open an NFR case?

Hi John, if you call support, they will assist you in opening a case.
