Odd display

Veeam Backup & Replication V9 on a Hyper-V single host deployment and we see the backup proxy on the Veeam server declaring itself a VMware proxy.

Just seems an odd display.

Is this normal?

Joseph, the server Veeam B&R is installed on becomes a VMware proxy by default (a proxy component is a part of product installation), that's why you see it displayed this way. For Hyper-V, there're no proxies out-of-the-box, since, by default, Hyper-V host itself always plays a proxy role (only off-host Hyper-V proxies can be added to the list).
