Parallel Processing is off but not working

Anyone else have similar issues where parallel processing is off but the backup job still starts up multiple VM backups? This is normally not an issue, but in a Hyper-V environment using off host proxy, this seems to cause a bit of issues with the hardware VSS provider.

Have you tried adjusting the number of concurrent tasks on the off-host proxy server?
