Proper connection for Replication job

Dear All,
looking to have replication job between Site1 , Site2,
so is it possible by vpn connection?
can the connection be ADSL?
or it should be a specific type of connection to run the replication smoothly?
the plan is to run the job every 15-30 minutes
I know it's more likely network part but I just need to know veeam recommendation for this point.
any reply or help is highly appreciated

Replication over VPN is possible.

In order to speedup replication process at the beginning I would recommend you Replica Seeding.
