Hello,
I understand Veeam and QNAP devices have some sort of integration.
is it possible to spin up a Hyper-V Virtual machine directly on the QNAP operating system?
eg: using the QNAP itself as a Disaster recovery unit?

Re: QNAP devices + Veeam B&R?
Hi,
Depends on what exactly you mean by "spin-up". If you want to use QNAP Virtualization Station as a target to restore to, then the answer is no, you cannot restore from Veeam backups to QNAP. Technically, you could use QNAP as an SMB3 storage for vhdx files exported from Veeam backups and present them to Hyper-V host, but that doesn't seems to be a good idea actually. Please elaborate on your inquiry.
Thanks
