Hi there
New to Veeam and have not yet installed it. I need to ask a few questions before I go ahead with the install.
Will be installing onto Windows Server 2008 r2 with Hyper-V.
1) Is a reboot required with the installation of Veeam? I need to avoid system restarts as is on live server.
2) One of my VM's is running Ubuntu 12.04 and the registry key to enable live VSS backups is not present
as per this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958662
Would Veeam require this key to be manually configured in the registry at all?
I have "inherited" this server from a previous employee who has left me with no documentation on what has been done , configured etc so flying blindfolded to some degree here

This article refers to using Windows Server Backup, so not sure how it relates to Veeam B&R.GazzaD wrote:2) One of my VM's is running Ubuntu 12.04 and the registry key to enable live VSS backups is not present
