Need to move a VM to another Hyper-V host (both hosts are 2012 R2). The VM is an Exchange server and has multiple checkpoints. I would like to be checkpoint free after the move. Live Migration is not possible at this time. Will a full backup and then restore to new host eliminate the checkpoint? If not, what is the recommended method for removing them without data loss? It would be excellent to head back from someone who has successfully deleted/merged checkpoints before as this is our companies production email server and we are not in a position to take risks.
We would like to get this done today, so will be grateful for your responses.
Thank you,
William

Re: Removing Veeam Replica Checkpoints
Just a quick update, when the VM was restored from a full, the checkpoints were gone.
