Hi,
We are planning to set up a disaster recovery site in a remote location. This location is owned and operated by a local service provider. We are planning to lease virtual machines from the service provider.
Is it possible for us to implement Veeam replication with only the virtual machines in the remote location. As per my understanding there should be a physical server at the remote location. Leasing a physical host would be too expensive.
Has anyone come across this scenario?

Re: Replicate with no physical server on target side
Hi,
Currently you can't do that. Veeam Cloud Connect in version 9 offers an ability to replicate to a cloud host (not to be confused with physical host) that needs to provided to you by your service provider.
Thank you.
