hello all,
i have a 2 site network . 2 physical locations. 2 subnets. both sites are on the same active directory domain.
is there any need to replicate my primary dc from site 1 to site 2 if i also have backup DC in site 2?
What do most people recommend doing ?
I am kind of thinking that if site 1 goes down . i could still operate using the backup dc. probably would just have to seize the fsmo server roles?
any helpful input appreciated in advance .
thanks.

Re: replicating domain controller best practice
I'd say in this case replicating primary DC is not necessary, unless it also runs some other valuable roles.
