Replication error after Expanding VHDX

Recently the VHDX from 1TB to 2TB my replication fails with this error 'Failed to process replication task Error: Attempted to read beyond logical VHDX file boundary' VM machines recognize the added space, but I am not sure what to do about the Replication job failures. Backup job runs without failure on the VM's

Hi Lamont, have you rebooted the VM after expanding the disk? If this doesn't help, please contact support - there was an issue in Veeam B&R v9.5 Update 2 regarding this, for which hotfix is available.

Yes, I rebooted the VM's after expanding the disks. I will contact support. Thanks for the help.

We have the same problem. We recently started using veeam rep for virtual file servers where we occassionally grow the disks. What do we need to do to get around this error and ensure replication can continue?

We have had this issue and the fix is to delete the replica, when replication runs it will re-create the replica. :)
