I have a case open #04743893
Having enabled SMB signing I am noting the failure of a replication backup job.
The error is Failed to process replication task Error: Failed to revert VM (ID: c95ee4f0-27ab-4411-9ebf-a005e5093bb5) snapshot (path: '\\SHADOWoot\virtualization\v2:Msvm_VirtualSystemSettingData.InstanceID="Microsoft:B6319C36-06D4-44D9-81CC-3D7E51051FC7"'). Job failed (''BMS Virtual Server_REPLICA' failed to apply checkpoint. (Virtual machine ID C95EE4F0-27AB-4411-9EBF-A005E5093BB5)'). Error code: '32769'.
Is it advisable to disable SMB signing?

Re: Replication failure
Hi Tim,
Veeam will work fine with SMB signing.
It seems like permissions issue to me, so please keep working with support to find the root of it.
Thanks!

Hi Tim,
You can also check other threads with the same issue while waiting for Support resolution, might give you a hint.
Thanks!

Re: Replication failure
H have reversed the GPO change in case that is the issue, as nothing else has changed. Within Hyper-V the checkpoints on the replicas fail. But I am sure the VMs which have working checkpoints are saved to the same location.
