I have a full image backup of a Hyper-V server on which I need to restore the main volume (where the VM's were stored).
I have installed Veeam on another computer and imported the backups.
From the "Backups -> Disk (Imported)" selection, I right click on the backup restore point and select "Restore Volumes".
When I get to "Disk Mapping" screen and click on "Choose..." for the "Destination host:", there is nothing listed in the "Protected Computers" -> "Manually Added" list.
How do I get the host where I want to restore the volume into the "Select Host" list?

Re: Restore a Volume
Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
When you say image... did you maybe do agent based backup instead of Hyper-V based backup?
I recommend checking out the quick start guide for Hyper-V: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backup/qsg_hyperv/
If you really want to use the "Restore Volumes", then the host needs to be added to a protection group first: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
Best regards,
Hannes
