Hi,
For the first tome today I had to restore DCs on VMs.
All attempts failed: Starting the VM caused an immediate BSOD (0xc00002e2). I therefore didn't have any chance to enter Safe Mode or Active Directory Recovery Mode.
I finally succeeded with the ugly workaround of Instant-Recovery/Migration-to-Production.
My backup job is defined as Application Aware. Therefore, I would have assumed the Active Directory would have been correctly handled.
My question: I am using the Community Edition. Is DC/Active Directory support included?

Re: Restore of DC Causes BSOD 0xc00002e2
Hello,
Yes, it is included. You may refer to this document for more information about the available functionality. App-aware backups are mentioned on page 7, near the bottom. I believe you should examine the Windows event logs in the guest OS and look for relevant errors (probably VSS-related) that occurred during the backup.
Thanks!
