Retention for backup jobs

Hi,

I have requirements from our customer to configure retention for backup jobs as below:

o Daily Incremental.
o Weekly Full for 1 month.
o Monthly full for 3 months.

How can I do this?

Hi Foggy, does this mean I do not need to create normal backup job, just backup copy to achieve the three parameters above?

You need to create regular backup job first and then use backup copy job to copy backups produced by the regular backup job to a secondary location with GFS retention enabled.
