Hello,
We just added rotated-drives media as repository to Veeam and it appears that it fits only one full backup file. Which is fine - we have 3 sets of drives.
However based on backup job settings - it tries to run Full backup each time drives are swapped and runs out of space.
Read this KB - https://www.veeam.com/kb1154 and looks like we stuck formatting volume manually after each swap.
Any possible way to set Veeam to format rotated-drive repository first before running Full backup?
Thank you!

Re: Rotated-drives repo - how to auto-format it
Is it a regular backup or backup copy job? What kind of repository is it? Unless it is a backup copy to a Windows repository, you can try the ForceDeleteBackupFiles registry value mentioned in the KB article. Otherwise, there's also the pre-job script option.

Thank you foggy. Well it looks like you are right and we would have to run a script on the day of full backup to format drive before running job.
