Re: Scheduling type backup
Set active fulls to be performed on Mondays, retention to 5 points, and adjust the job scheduling correspondingly. Create a pre- (or post-) job script that would check the beginning of the month and remove previous backups.

I'm also not good at scripting, but you could ask for help in the corresponding subforum.

Yes, I've got that, that's why I mentioned that job scheduling should be configured so that the job kicks in on active full days only.

Re: Scheduling type backup
To stop the casill active active FULL BACKUP must first select a backup method .
or Reverse Incremental or Incremental.
Or that option should I choose to do it ?
I leave a screenshot
Thanks Foggy

Re: Scheduling type backup
It doesn't matter which backup method is selected in case the job does active full each time it is triggered.

Re: Scheduling type backup
This is being more complicated than it seems and there must be a way that only a full backup job without incremental jobs.
Every Monday of each month to perform a full backup
If I run a single task and indicated 5 points of restoration , the first job is FULL but the following are incremental and we do not want .
Using the mode - INCREMENTAL and checking the box
· ___DAY ACTIVE FULL BACKUP ( BACKUP JOB the same day )
The option right click on the job and run full backup does not admit because it is programmed to automatically Veeam

Re: Scheduling type backup
Ok thanks Erenim, I will set a task to check.
Anyway , if I set one of that and throw it manually after performing the first full backup ..... it makes incremental .

Re: Scheduling type backup
Expected - active full is performed only once per day (unless you explicitly select the Active Full command from the shortcut menu). Every subsequent manual run during the same day will be incremental.adrianIDC wrote:Anyway , if I set one of that and throw it manually after performing the first full backup ..... it makes incremental .
