New to Veeam,
I have one standalone host with 2 VM's on it. I set up a job with Virtual Machine, added the host by selecting host & Volumes. Then set Application-aware and enabled guest indexing. The job backs up the 2 VM's but does not back up the host. When the job is running it does not show the host but shows the 2 VM's.
How do I get the host to backup with the VM's?
To verify that the host was not being backed up I went to the Files tab in Enterprise Manager. This tab only shows the VM's
My version is: 9.5.4.2615

Re: Standalone Hyper-v
As far as I am aware Veeam does not backup the host, only the VMs. The host doesn't take long to rebuild if it dies, assuming you aren't trying to run something on the host (which I doubt is a good idea).
