Can you elaborate on your question? Are you asking whether there is a hardware provider available for the said device? What particular model are you willing to leverage?

Yes, sure, I mean VSS HW Provider, in order to use a Off Host Backup Proxy! The model is StorSimple 8000 (but I would like if also 7000 and 5000 are VSS HW Provider).

Do you have any software coming with this storage? The easiest way to check if you have any VSS providers installed for this device is to run these commands:

vssadmin list writers
vssadmin list providers
