Hi,
I'm trying to track down the ports required to successfully configured a Hyper-V SureBackup virtual lab. In the VMware documentation there is a section on the ports page for vPower NFS which I know Hyper-V doesn't use. Which ports are needed for Hyper-V please?

Re: SureBackup used ports
Hello Gunnersaurus
Yes, vPowerNFS is not used.
While the SureBackup/Instant Recovery is running, the disk is mounted with the help of the data mover service on the backup repository server and Hyper-V server. So you have to open ports required for the data mover services to talk to each other.
I suggest starting with opening the ports used by the data mover service for data transmission.
- 2500 to 3300
It seems we don't have it clearly stated in the port document. I'll check with technical writers if we can have a section or description for this.

Best,
Fabian
