SureBackup Virtual Lab on production HyperV host

We're looking into creating a virtual lab on one of our lesser utilized standalone hyper-v hosts for use with SureBackup jobs. This host DOES run a handful of production vms.

Will creating a virtual lab on this host interfere with the operation of these production vm's, meaning we need a dedicated hyper-v host to utilize SureBackup/virtual lab? We've read through the documentation, but are unclear if the virtual lab creation modifies settings at the hyper-v host level, like networking, etc that would directly affect the existing workloads.

You are able to segregate the networking components in a virtual lab so they should not interfere with the production VMs.

No, the idea of Virtual Lab is to create an isolated environment in which SureBackup job can validate VM backups. There is no interaction with the production environment and you don't need to deploy an additional host.
