Apologize for support ticket ID. i'M newbies.
However I have resolve it.
My backup was through scvmm and not hyper-v
when check with scvmm server, it failed to connect scvmm console.
After restart the System Center Virtual Machine Manager,

General questions can be submitted without support ticket ID. It's required only while posting about technical issues for which deep log investigation is usually required. Thanks.

I had the same error message so I restarted SCVMM server and it solved the problem too.
Thank you for your help.

Re: Task failed. Failed to expand object <hostname?
Hello Team,
I have the same issue as mention here.
My VM backup jobs are failing due to this error:
06/06/2023 11:30:48 :: Task failed. Failed to expand object VM Name. Error: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
I have 6 VMs all are failing for the same reason.
