We currently have someone looking at this case, but thought I'd see if anyone else has experienced this too.
We have one of three virtual machines which doesn't back up since upgrading to v9. It just says 'task 'servername' has been rescheduled' and never backs up. We did enable application aware processing (as recommended by some Veeam articles) as it's their DC.
I noticed that the machine had some large checkpoints, so I exported the machine to remove them, but they keep coming back, and it seems to be when Veeam fails the backup. Are .avhdxs created temporarily when Veeam backs up a VM using application aware processing..? I can't see that having some checkpoints would prevent Veeam from backing up a VM though?
