Unable to backup Hyper-V VM to network repository - Case # 00587861
Hello guys,
I'm trying to back-up a random VM from a System Center that has 4 hyper-v host and i get the following error:
Task failed Error: Failed to initialize disks collection for original VM 'VM NAME'.
I've just started messing with veeam and i'm sure the answer to this problem is very simple yet i cannot seem to find/fix it.
Veeam suport has instructed me to do the following wich i did, to no avail.
Can you please try to rescan host (or cluster) from Veeam console?
Also, if host reboot is an option, please try that. In many cases the issue gets resolved by simple reboot.
Thanks in advance,
Vlad

Re: Unable to backup Hyper-V VM to network repository
In the time it took the forum mods to approve my post (no offence) i managed to fix this.
All was needed was applying the latest patch.
Cheers,
Vlad

Yes, it always makes sense to run the latest patch level for Veeam B&R and Hyper-v. Thanks for updating the topic with the solution.
